Media Trust partners FRSC on accident preventions

Media Trust Limited, publishers of Trust newspapers, and the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) had entered into a partnership arrangement on accidents prevention in the country.

This followed a courtesy visit on the Corps Marshal, Osita
Chidoka by a management team of the Media Trust Limited, led by the organization’s Managing Director/Chief Operating Officer of the organisation Alhaji Isiaq Ajibola and General Manager, Business and Strategy Aliyu Akoshile at the Corps’ Headquarters in Abuja yesterday.
Ajibola said Media Trust has a section in its publications that helps to educate Nigerians on how to use the road, noting that it’s part of the organization’s responsibilities to inform the society.
He said praised the FRSC’s use of Information and Communication Technologies in carrying out their job.
While acknowledging that the FRSC was doing fine in public enlightenment, he maintained that Media Trust Limited could help the commission do it  better.
Also speaking, Akoshile said the company was planning to devote a page of its daily publications (Daily Trust) for reporting Road Safety activities.
Responding, the FRSC Corps Marshal, Osita Chidoka thanked Media Trust for its visit, expressing interest in partnering the organisation.
He said his organisation craves for publicity and Media Trust was a perfect platform to use, adding that FRSC will take advantage of the media to publicise its training activities among others.
