Modibbo, Ribadu, others in Izala centre building c’ttee

The Jama’atul Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS) has inaugurated a 15-man Islamic Centre Building Committee to expend the proceeds of the launching of the centre to complete the project.

The committee has former FCT Minister Dr. Aliyu Modibbo Umar as Chairman and Rep Kawu Sumaila as Secretary. Members include Sheikh Yusuf Muhammad Sambo, Sheikh Saidu Hassan Jingir; former Bauchi State Governor Dr. Ahmad Adamu Muazu, Alhaji Labaran M. Jega, former EFCC Chairman Malam Nuhu Ribadu, Senator Babayo Garba Gamawa and Malam Bala Yusuf Idris.
Others are: Malam Muhammad Abubakar, Malam Ibrahim Duguri, Ustaz Nasiru AbdulMuhyi, Arc. Basher Usman, Dr. Shuaibu A. Danwanka and Engr. Safiyanu A. Bage.
National Chairman, Council of Ulama and head of JIBWIS, Sheikh Muhammad Sani Yahaya Jingir charged the committee to see their mandate as an act of worship and to enjoin other Muslims to contribute to the completion of the project.
A member of the committee, Malam Ibrahim Duguri, said there was a formal launching for the project last February and that the committee will use the proceeds of the launching for the project located in Guzape District, Asokoro Extension.
